Vacuum dispersion device

Instrument overview

The VDD270 is the stand alone version of the vacuum dispersion apparatus integrated with our 500nano instrument. This tool allows homogenous dispersion of dry powder samples on a flat surface, like microscope slides or other supports. The powder is introduced through a special apparatuts on the top of the vacuum chamber. The integrated pump pulls the air from inside the chamber out, rupturing the membrane. The particles are immediately dispersed and collected on the glass slide resting on the base of the dispersion chamber.
