Instrument overview

Specially developed for liquid applications the FC200s+HR requires a small sample quantity, just 20µl. This instrument is fully computer-controlled by a powerful external PC and monitor which is included in the instrument purchase. Sample flow is obtained via the integrated precision syringe pump. As with all the Occhio wet dispersion instruments, the flow cell core is supplied with different spacer thicknesses. The choice of an appropriate spacer reduces the sample dilution and improves the reliability of the measurement. By choosing higher resolution, 200nm, Occhio FC200S+HR is able to detect submicron particles and deliver you an unrivalled image quality.

High resolution option ‘HR’

Image resolution is one of the key aspects of image analysis-based instruments. Our HR option comes with an ultra-high-resolution sensor. This new sensor allows for better images and more accuracy for subvisible particles.

With the Occhio FC200S+HR you can measure:

• Particle size
• Particle shape
• Particle concentration (particle counting)
• Particle transparency

Related software

Data and images of every single particle are stored in an Occhio binary database. The instrument is driven by Callisto software, which controls the entire analysis: ‘SOP’, statistic, reporting and data storages.
